Want to join research into rural and regional Support Groups?

Parkinson’s NSW Clinical Nurse Consultant Vince Carroll – who is based in the Mid North Coast Local Health District – is a PhD candidate at Charles Sturt University.

He is conducting research to explore the models of Parkinson’s Support Group leadership, and what makes and creates an effective Parkinson’s Support Group from the perspective of people living with Parkinson’s, caregivers, and Support Group leaders.

This research is important because the need for support is a central part of dealing with the challenges facing people living with Parkinson’s and their caregivers.

Want to join this research?

If you are over 18 years of age and a person living with Parkinson’s, a caregiver or a Support Group Leader, Vince would like to speak with you about your experience.

More information about the research, confidentiality, and consent forms, visit this page of the Parkinson’s NSW website.

Vince Carroll can be contacted by phone on 66592300 or email at vcarroll@csu.edu.au.
