Brian Sherman Awards
Recognising outstanding contributions to the Parkinson’s community
We’re proud to launch the Brian Sherman Awards, recognising individuals who make an exceptional contribution to the Parkinson’s community through advocacy, leadership and lived experience.
These awards celebrate people who are helping to raise awareness, strengthen community connection and improve outcomes for people living with Parkinson’s, their families and carers.
About the Brian Sherman Awards
The Brian Sherman Awards are made possible through the generosity of the family of Brian Sherman.
Brian was a well-known entrepreneur, philanthropist and animal activist who lived with Parkinson’s. He passed away in 2022 at the age of 79. Parkinson’s was also part of Brian’s family story — his father lived with the condition.
Through these awards, Brian’s legacy continues by recognising those who are making a meaningful difference for the Parkinson’s community.
