Naomi Dodd – NDIS Support Coordinator
Naomi Dodd joined Parkinson’s NSW as NDIS Support Coordinator in mid-January 2021.
Naomi brings to the role more than a decade of experience in aged care, disability support, case management and support coordination. She is Australian born but has worked in these roles in both the UK and Australia.
In fact, Naomi has been working in her various roles with the National Disability Insurance Scheme since its NSW launch in 2013.
Immediately prior to joining Parkinson’s NSW, Naomi was an Assistant House Manager at Cerebral Palsy Australia.
When she’s not busy connecting people with supports, Naomi enjoys the great outdoors through hiking and bushwalking.
She’s also a keen gym-goer and enjoys yoga and Pilates. Naomi exercises her brain by listening to podcasts – particularly about her passions of psychology and social work.
“I was drawn to Parkinson’s NSW by its mission of enabling wellbeing and quality of life right now for people living with Parkinson’s. I’ve found the entire team here to be dedicated, enthusiastic and really strongly focused on the needs of the people we support.
“This role is also providing me with an opportunity to learn more in my chosen field, while building on my past experience – particularly with the NDIS,” she said.
