Unity Walk and Run

Unity Walk

The 2013 Parkinson's NSW Unity Walk and Run

Sunday 25th August at Sydney Olympic Park. The Parkinson's Unity Walk is staged by the Parkinson's organisations in each state. It began in Australia in 2008 and, so far, has raised more than $1.2 MILLION to fund important research and increase the support services we provide for people living with Parkinson's, their families and carers.

The Unity Walk is the perfect day out with family and friends. The event's focus is a leisurely stroll or, if you are in Sydney, an additional 4km or 8km Run, for a great cause. It gives a voice to all those living with or touched by Parkinson's.

* In Australia, every hour of every day, someone is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease
* There are over 80,000 Australians living with Parkinson's disease, which is the second most common degenerative neurological condition.
* There is currently no known cause or cure.

Sign up today to be a part of these significant events for people affected by Parkinson's all around Australia.
Get involved and raise much needed funds for research.
